Kolb is Given a Chance to Lead the Eagles; He Blows It

Today, in what proved to be an interesting game, Eagles fans cheered Donovan Mcnabb as he entered the field. The former Eagles quarterback had a very mediocre game, yet still led the Redskins to a victory over Philadelphia. The Redskins started the first quarter with a commanding lead of 14-0. However, they lost their momentum, but still ended up winning 17-12. During the game a few interesting things happened. First, Mcnabb was cheered as he entered the field. Also, Kevin Kolb got a chance to prove that he is capable of starting for the Eagles due to an injury to Michael Vick. Vick suffered a rib injury and was forced out in the first quarter. Kolb’s performance was as disappointing as it was during the opening game of the season, though. After a rough game, Kolb had a chance to give the Eagles the victory. With four seconds left in the game and with the end zone within passing distance, Kolb lobbed the ball hoping somebody would catch it, but it was dropped. Evidently, he did not impress anybody in this 4th week of the season.
